The hype around this game is pretty real. I haven’t seen anything I’m too worried about, Ubisoft has the far cry formula pretty down pat at this point.

Will buy, will play for as long as the story keeps me engaged. That's the way it goes with these formulaic Ubisoft (and others) games. I know the gameplay will be satisfying enough, but will the story be good enough to take me all the way to the end? That hasn't happened for me since FC3. Got about halfway through 4 and maybe a quarter of the way through 5.

To each their own. I loved 3, 4 and 5. Didn’t like primal or new dawn.. really any of the DLC’s since FC3 set the bar so high.

Played it a couple hours last night. I’m enjoying it, though the guns are horrible until you mod them up I assume

I liked 4. Didn't like 5.

I'll probably pick this one up

It’s more of the same old far cry. So be warned. They did away with the skill tree for some reason, that’s really my only complaint. But I’m a far cry fan
I watched the first 17 minutes. It looks better than the last one. I guess it was just the place setting that I didn’t get into 5.

It’s a lot of fun co op. I loved five. Loved the whole Montana vibe. Loved the boss. That ending was great. This one is fun. Basically like Cuba. Last night we got in a tank and basically raised hell for like an hour.

If you’re in PS5, add me. I’m interested in co op but my friends skipped out in favor of Ho hum call of duty coming up

I’m on PC. Have no idea if it’s cross platform or not
I’m not sure either. I had heard the PC version isn’t optimized well so that’s why I got a console version. My PC is beefy enough to do all the Ray tracing stuff they didn’t put on the consoles so if it’s running well for you then I regret that choice

I’m sure it looks great on PS5 as well. I haven’t had any issues with it on PC

been playing through it on xbox. A little different than 5 (which i had down pat). More like 3, which i didnt play, but many say was their favorite. I'm just getting used to some of it. In some ways it's more challenging.

My only complaint is the elimination of the skill tree. It’s annoying to have to pick out clothes for any given task

Trying to be stealthy on this one (which is how i play) takes a minute to get to. The game keeps pushing you into "partner" situations.

I've also noticed you get some of your better gear right at the beginning. I'd like to find better gear, but I don't even use 85% of these weapons tbh, I just keep upgrading the ones I like.

I accidentally did the end game moneda quests at like level 2. It was hard as hell, but I beat it. Bought a MP5 with the reward money and haven’t used anything else since really. It’s an amazing gun

I'm hitting you while I run around and doing errands, but don't bother with the emp stuff. even the emp supremo doesn't do jack. It's a waste.

I have the m16 built up with an american supressor, a three times sight, and soft target rounds. One head shot does the trick, you just don't want to miss.

The "libatard" machine gun for run and gun.

I tried the building up the sniper rifle, but it was disappointingly ineffective.

went with a shot gun with a laser pointer and blasting shells. One pop from that will send most flying through the air in a close combat situation.

The "autocrat" pistol.

It's a little more "run and gun" than I like at times. I'm more of a stealth player, but's a good game over all. You will need the internet sometimes for this one. Some of the gear and weapons can be wonkey. It makes FULL use of every controller button, so I do hit the wrong button quite often. It's generally a bit busier then I like, and the saves are auto, so you can't go back and replay something you screwed up ;). But, over all... it's fun.
