I didn't see a thread for this, so i figured i'd start one.

Here's my team (listed in starting order):

QB: Peyton MAnning, JAy Cutler

HB: Darren McFadden, Willie Parker, KEvin Smith, Chris Johnson

WR: Randy Moss, Roy Williams, Laveranues Coles, Donte Stallworth, David Patten

TE: Dallas Clark, Tony Scheffler

K: Rob Bironas

Def: Tennessee

I like a lot of my offense; course come week 4 i'm pretty screwed

And since I drafted for him here's my friend's team:

QB: Tony Romo, David Garrard

HB: Adrian Peterson, Jamal Lewis, Selvin Young, DeAngelo Williams

WR: Andre JOhnson, Lee Evans, Kevin Curtis, Anthony Gonzalez, Robert Meachem

TE: Antonio Gates, Alge Crumpler

K: David Akers

Def: New York Giants

Also, for anyone planning on trying it, don't draft for 2 teams...it wears you down later in the draft and you start realizing right before picks that you've been paying attention to the wrong team

However, on the flip side, sometimes you can get them to agree to some very beneficial trades because of it...

i did the SAME thing in my draft... my friend was leaving for college the next day and going to tell his girl goodbye, so i drafted for him. There were a few players i wanted but had to take for him because i knew they would get taken before it came back around to me.

His team looks like this

QB: Peyton
RB: Addai, Julius Jones
WR: Santonio Holmes, Larry Fitzgerald, Torry Holt, Joey Galloway
TE: Tony Gonzalez
D/Special Teams: Vikings
K: Nate Kaeding

Bench:

Felix Jones
Alge Crumpler
Donte Stallworth
Jeff Garcia
Derrick Mason
Ted Ginn Jr.
Broncos D/ST

Since i had both of our live draft screens up, i would sometimes say something in the chat that I wanted to say and accidentally say it under his name... confused others and myself pretty badly.

WR – Greg Jennings
TE – Heath Miller
K – Neil Rackers

We also drafted individual defensive players, three DL or LBs and two DBs

Any thoughts?

Keep in mind this is a point per reception league

That's neat, where did you do this that it let you pick individual defensive players instead of team defenses?

Linebackers are amazing.. very nicely done in that regard. Fitz and houshmazilla will get receptions like crazy. i like the idea of defensive players but have never done a league with that.

Hasselback was a good selection as well.

Alright. HAd to make some trades. Originally i was going to give my friend, whom had the first pick and who i drafted for, manning and mcfadden/parker for peterson and romo as we had agreed after the draft b/c he really wanted manning, but my league manager is a jerk, so the only way I could get my friend manning - which again i did b/c he's my best friend, was for me to give up manning, mcfadden, roy williams and kevin jones for romo, andre johnson, and selvin young. At least i got johnson back out of it but im really pissed at my league manager right now, that really hurt my rb  ...least i still got to keep moss

This is why it is a tricky proposition to play in multiple FF leagues.

I am in three leagues, all pay leagues. In one league I own the Bear's D, while in another my opponent has them. Somewhere in the second quarter, I realized that I needed the Bears D to do poorly in one league worse than I needed them to do well in the other.

In the same league that I need the Bears D to do poorly, I have Michael Turner, RB, ATL on my team. Too bad he was sitting on my bench while I started Steven Jackson and Clinton Portis. :banghead2: If I had played him, I wouldn't even be sweating it right now.

To add insult to injury, in my third league my opponent started Turner against me and will probably win our match up as a result. My only hope is for Darren McFadden to turn his ankle in the tunnel and not play. Either that, or Darrell Jackson needs to go off for me.

I can see your point Vader. I am just in two, one paid and one unpaid. I sat Bush and he had 22 points and I would have won my game. That's the way it goes sometimes, it still bites.

Ha, I am winning my matchup right now, and only 20 points away from being the high scoring team. I still have AP and Greg Jennings going tomorrow and the way our league scores I will probably be the high score by a mile. Michael Turner is my hero.

That frustration happens....it gets even worse w/ starting rookies b/c you never know how they'll do, i could've gotten more had i played chris johnson this week

that being said, i had a great first week, beating my opponent 108-63...and that's still without some stats from the oak/den game :)
