Spoke briefly to a guy I know in the AD. Take it for what its worth.CMK almost stayed in Knoxville. Monte didnt want to leave because he loved it here. The only reason he left was to be with his grandchildren because prior to UT he never had that. Layla hated Knoxville because we dont have enough high class and isnt good enough..

There is NO way Monte almost stayed here.

He would have left if Lane took the Idaho job.

tifwiw i heard layla gave lane an ultimatum. it makes the most sense of anything ive heard in the past couple days.

I know LK is a grown man...but now was the time for daddy to make a stand & tell his lame ass son to be a man & finish what he started. MK could have said I'm not part of the package deal to teach his lame ass son a lessen on how to be a freakin man.

Yeah, skunk head should have grown some balls and told him he wasnt leaving. And USC would not went for him. But who cares, maybe pretty boy can find him a man.
