No he died later that week.

He came back from the heat stroke but died of brain cancer after the season had ended.

Worst weather UT game that I’ve ever attended was 00 UT-Memphis at the Liberty Bowl. Highs in the upper 30s and a cold steady rain.

Worst weather in Knoxville: 2011 Montana

Most miserable game ever: Ole Miss-Alabama 2016. Worst humidity I’ve ever experienced at a game.

The Missouri game in como 2015 was the coldest I have ever been for 3 1/2 hours. I think it was 20 at kickoff, then the wind started blowing. Wife and daughter left at halftime, but I refused to leave after driving 600 miles and miss a rare road win.

The 89 and 92 rain wins were great. 93 rain loss SUCKED.

I was at that game. Can concur. Froze my *** off, but it was TOTALLY worth it to see a Vols win!!!

My drive home wasn't nearly as long as yours though.

Been to all of the Como games, and this was the best by far! Had a great time at a tiger tailgate house and met with friends I hadn't seen in a long time. Campus and social is very nice, but their stadium needs updates more than ours.

Looking forward to this game being moved to Oct. Hope it happens.
