Many Tennessee football fans were dismayed this summer when they received their copy of the 2005 Volunteers Football Media Guide and learned that many useful pages and sections were no longer included. New NCAA legislation has set a 208-page limit on media guides, but the pages that were left out of this year's hard copy are now available online at UTsports.com.

Just in time for Saturday's 2005 season-opener versus UAB, Big Orange fans can now access updated information ranging from Tennessee's inductees in the College Football Hall of Fame all the way to the Vols' record in televised games.

The following sections are available for download (.PDF) and can be viewed on UTsports.com's Media Guide section.:

UT Football/Neyland Stadium History
Lettermen by Hometown
College Football/Tennessee Sports Halls of Fame
Bowl Games
Vols in NFL Draft
SEC Record Holders
National Polls
Homecoming and NCAA Records
Freshman and JV Results
Vols on Television
Team Awards

A 208 page limit. What more can the NCAA regulate. That is the dumbest thing I have heard. What else are they going to do? It is getting out of hand!
