Listening to the scanner is crazy, they are in active pursuit right now of a second suspect.

They're not, nobody is updating them. I watched CNN and Fox fumble around for about an hour pretty much saying the same things over and over. The police have cordoned off a several block radius and made the reporters stand on the edge. Pretty sad actually.

If these are the guys from the bombings they're awful stupid to actually try and stay in the city afterward.

Sloppiest and stupidest MFs in the history of crime. At 5pm your photos are publicly released to the world and you are basically labeled the most wanted individuals in the world. At 10pm, you decide to knock off a 7/11? WTF?

The pursuit began after 10 p.m. Thursday when two men robbed a 7/11 near Central Square in Cambridge. A security camera caught a man identified as one of the suspects, wearing a gray hoodie.

Of course, maybe it was not them who robbed it, they were just caught on camera (hell of a coincidence). But, even then, why would you be out and about?

Just a quick rundown:

- the guys are brothers

- they have been in the US for a year

- they are terrorists from overseas

- 1 is now dead and the other is on the run

- they killed a cop last night, robbed a 7-11, and did a carjacking

They may indeed be incredibly stupid. Think about the 9-11 highjacker that wasn't able to make it on the plane. He was supposed to be incredibly dumb as well. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that these guys were recruited (quite possibly because they were dumb and easy to convince) by a terrorist group because they could blend in.
