Expectations for 26-27 season

Please post your expectations for the coming Season - not your hopes. I have read many different opinions from very high hopes to dismal fears of worse than last year.

It’s hard to get a sense of the overall expectations from the various opinions to date . . . So, let’s put it to a poll.

it’s hard because nobody has seen them face an opponent as a team yet. If this poll is still here a few games into the season you’ll get plenty of input. But right now anything said is just a wild guess.

I think they will finish about like Ole Miss. Both teams basically have new teams Ole Miss 8 new players, so could be about the same IMO. The 2 they got from UT were not high IQ BB players last year but good instinct players JMO. So I think they will finish in the middle with OM.

Yep, "valid range of possibilities". That's what makes it sad. I didn’t vote, because, as you suggest, they are a total unknown at this time.

This team is a total unknown, but I went ahead and voted for the sweet sixteen cause anything less should bring about a change in leadership. Year three if your not getting to that point your failing at Tennessee. After what happened last season it should be the minimum of expectations.

Who exactly of ANY significance would want to come and coach here after a year three firing or is this a back door way of trying to get Kelley back minus the husband.....

Most know I am still team Kellie
But unless Kim doesn't make exspend NCAA feild.
Would three years to quick fire Kim C
Unless multiple players quit on her
She shouldn't be responsible if she has player have trouble with the court.
Do you really see Danny White letting her go if her and team don't turn on each other after 3 years.

That range is valid for every team out there. Especially in today’s portal world.

I get that, but if we fire the coach wouldn't we want someone better? We already have an up and coming coach, so why make a lateral move?..

We will know if we really have an up and coming coach by the end of this season. I hope that we do, and we can all move forward smiling.

Kim will step down if they dont make the
Tournament. She said that herself. She is young and energetic. She will land on her feet somewhere..

The Tournament has expanded teams going this year, so more chance to make it, than before.

For a program that has never missed the tournament, this is a terrible conversation to be having.

Probably an unrealistic conversation too, given the expanded field. Will be really hard for anyone except the very worst teams to NOT make the tourney.

The more important and likely conversation is whether the program has made any progress toward competing for championships at the end of CKC's 3rd season.
