Jr. bumps Carl outta the way for the win.

Did Jr. bump him? Absolutely.

Was Carl already loose causing Jr. to be there on his bumper in the first place? Yes.

The way I see it, Carl finally got his for the 2004 Cup race in Atlanta. :)

Damn right, I listened to it on the radio today as I will be the race tomorrow and I loved it.....Junior sounded just like his Daddy up there talking after the race in his interview....carl got what he deserved after that stunt in Atlanta

I like Carl Edwards but that was just stupid to run up and hit Junior's car when he had his hand out the window. He could have ruined the rest of Junior's career if he had smashed his hand between the two cars. All of this action will make tomorrow's race and Bristol more exciting.

Edwards was mad because he couldn't do one of his backflips. I say if that's what it takes to keep him from doing that, then so be it.

Yeah, that was stupid. I know he doesn't have all the facts when he goes and retaliates, but come on. That was wrong to crash into him. Bad move, a little too knee jerk. He needs to calm down.

That move by Edwards was pathetic.....That move was cheap and like you say that could have ruined his career if that had happened....I don't blame Jr. for doing that, he has to do what he has to do to win

Typical Edwards. It's just a racing deal when he runs over someone. He's just like his buddy Stewart.

I have to disagree with that one, I like Stewart......I just saw the highlights from where he tried to take his hand off, that's cheap....He should be fined for that...P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C

Funny how everyone is putting down Carl for it, if I remember right it was Jr. who had to win like a coward and wreck the leader. It was funny to hear the large amount of boos for Mr. Popularity for once! I realize most here are Earnhardt fan so I'll be jumped on for the truth.

The truth is Carl was loose, and Jr. was there. You don't let off the gas on the last or next to last lap when racing for the win, or any position for that matter.

A Gordon fan calling out another driver for wrecking someone for a win is pretty good though, I give you that.

Did you ever hear me say it was okay for Jeff to do it? Didn't think so.

I don't fault Earnhardt at all for the move, and Edwards shouldn't have retaliated like that, but it's funny how when some people knock guys out of the way it's dirty and when others do it's just racin'.

Exactly, Carl will learn that eventually.

Don't recall that, but I don't recall you getting on here and calling other drivers that make a habit of knockin' drivers outta the way cowards either.

ANY driver that intentional wrecks someone on the last or last few laps for the win it's a "cowardly win". Wether it's Jr., Stewart, Gordon or whoever.

Sure, but what Jr. did wasn't intentional. Jr. was there, Carl got loose and let out of the gas, Jr. hit him. It happens. Carl even said on Sunday after looking at the replay and calming down that he doesn't think Jr. purposely drove up there with the intent on putting him in the wall.

guys guys guys, Jr. took himself out of the Chase in 2004, not Edwards. he even so much as admitted to it after he got out of his car. Jr. clearly came up on Edwards, after he thought he was clear of him.

i doubt Jr. waited almost two years to get 'back' at Edwards for what he supposedly did.

not a big Jr. fan here at all, but Edwards was in the wrong. i saw him get lose before the announcers did and called it about 5 seconds before Edwards spun. Jr. had nowhere to go with Gordon right next to him down low and the wall up high. Carl should have let it go after he said "oh well, i guess that's racing"

So let me get this straight, NASCAR fined Carl and placed him on probation through the end of 2006. I guess the probation is just for the Busch Series, considering he was already on probation for being Carl in the Cup Series.

Let's rewind to 2002. Harvick is placed on probation for attacking Biffle at Bristol, he has another on and off track incident at Martinsville, and he is then forced to sit out for the Cup race at Martinsville.

Hmm.

I disagree, you do what you gotta do to win in my opinion....Now I don't agree with them doing it now but they're out there for a reason and that's to win...that's the first time Jr. has ever done that
