i'm sure most of you have earned your 3 day weekend coming up, so i hope everyone makes good use of it and does absolutely nothing productive, and everything is done for pure enjoyment.

don't drink and drive, drink and sleep.:p

eat plenty, sleep plenty.......golf, boats, cookouts, whatever......have fun.

and remember all those that are (and have been) elsewhere ensuring that we have the opportunity to do just that.:salute:

have a great Memorial Day Volnation!
(if you are a rival fan reading this, i hope it rains where ever you are!:) )

Everything going fine here. I don't recall stepping foot outside today. Hard to go to jail when you pull that off.

I would like to say happy Memorial Day to all my friends here in the Vol Nation. I would also like to thank all of those men and women in uniform that have made the ultimate sacrifice that has allowed me to eat barbecued country style ribs, pork chops with Rendezvous and lemon pepper rub and enjoy a cold PBR the whole time. I raise my glass to our fearless warriors and salute your bravery.

I know that what I can remember I had a great time, and what I don't remember but was later told about what I did was awesome.

I hope so to, Jake. We've had 2 sprinkling showers that totaled a quarter inch in the past 90 days. It's weird.

actually, we could use some too......they've started with the requests to stop watering lawns. If something doesn't change soon, i'm sure they're going to restrict water useage in mecklenburg county.

It's normal for us to have droughts in West Central Alabama in August - October. But March - June is usually when we get a huge purple clouded torrential downpour every 3 or 4 days, some years every day. We haven't had one of those this year.

Central Florida pretty dry too. First summer I was here it rained everyday at 4pm. Last couple years, not so much.

You Florida and Georgia people need to keep the smoke from your forest fires to yourself. It's bad enough that it doesn't rain anymore but now we have to smell all that smoke because you don't know how to put them out. :)
