Everybody talking about Kesling…

Here are a couple of thoughts from a regular life long fan. It is sad and disappointing that Bob K didn't take any lessons from the absolute class act Mr. Ward demonstrated at all times. Bob was around that every day and chose not to learn from the great one. The other thing is this: I too was not really good at my chosen profession when I was 26 years old.......but I kept at it, kept learning, rigidly self critiqued my work, and finally I think I evolved to be pretty decent at what I do (and get feedback reflecting this). No shame that he was awful when he began (shame on the powers that anointed him). The shocker is how he sat back and coasted it seems from Day 1 without any apparent growth into a better product. Now that is shocking. No one could have replaced JWard, but to not grow or improve at all over all these years? Unforgivable. It surely will be time for him to retire soon. I hope we do better.
The arrogant rarely see any need to improve themselves. They definitely don’t critique their own work and definitely don’t ask for feedback from others. This leads to a false sense of their abilities or the quality of their work; therefore no improvement.

I am one of the few people who doesn't have a problem with BK. But it is refreshing to hear complaints about the play by play call of the game vs the play selection of the head coach. So roast Bob at will if it means Tennessee is playing winning ball.

Some Vol fans have to Bitch about something. It’s good when it’s the PBP guy

John Ward is just an impossible act to follow.
That's a good point.

However, Bob Kesling would suck if he followed Gilbert Godfrey. He's that bad at his job. And as others have said, he's arrogant and feels he's better than everyone else. He doesn't even have an endearing personality like John Ward had to help gloss over his ineptitude

I don't know who the guy is that calls the basketball games with Bob, but he gets on my last nerve.

Kesling sounded absolutely ecstatic when Alabama just took the lead. Yuck!

Yes, you hate Kesling and thinks he’s terrible and he sucks.

As Bob Kelso once said: “you need a new thing big guy.”
