Not that anyone here is surprised, but Indiana made the playoffs without a single Top 25 win.

At first I wanted to say that DeBoer's was juiced from being in the Pac 12, but the some of the individual teams he beat at Washington were impressive. In 2022, he beat a ranked Michigan St team early in the season ended up 5-7, but he beat good Oregon and Oregon St teams and a ranked Texas team in the bowl game. In 2023, he did beat some pretty good but not great ranked teams (USC, Utah, Oregon St) but beat a very good Oregon team twice and then Texas in the CFP semifinal. He went 5-0 against Oregon and Texas there, and only one of those games was at home.
