Every JG Throw vs WVU

If he has time to drop back and set to make the throws, he can make almost all of them. The arm talent is there. I know the popular thing to do is rip players after a tough loss, but I think JG did GREAT against WV.

And not just arm talent, either, Nooga. He showed great poise Saturday. Which translates into "follow me" style leadership.

Thanks, Enki, that's a nice video to have access to!

Just echoing what most of you guys have said above. Also think you'll see more of a passing game now and use it to loosen up the run. Coaches have to be pleased with his performance. Man, he looks so much better than last year. OL did a better job later in the game of protecting him and he really showed he now knows when to get rid of the ball. Thanks OP for the video.

I agree. One thing that really impresses me about JG is TOUGHNESS. He has taken multiple brutal shots, popped back up and strapped up ready to go. People will knock him and being emotional and acting pouty at times, but to me it shows one major thing that I think some of the team lacks, which is that he CARES. This game means everything to him and you can tell every single time he steps on the field.

With JG's performance out there showing poise, leadership, solid drop back and footwork, timing, speed, and accuracy, I was proud of our team's quarterback. Guess what? I still am!

With a game under their belts, the whole team should have more confidence and be more prepared for this next game. Go Vols!

I think the offensive coordinator should throw a little more. Let him air it out .

JG looks good here. I would like to see how WVU's defense does against the rest of their schedule too.

I thought only 25 passes against them was a bad offensive game plan. It was obvious that the big weakness of their defense is their secondary. I guess we were running trying to control the ball and clock. I don't know why we continued to do that after their first two quick scores.

I felt the same exact way. That 3rd and 4 before half is the one that really blows my mind. Jennings should have been the target with a curl or slant. He is a big physical kid that we just didn't use properly that game.
