Ok, little background, playing on Heisman, I am Tennessee going into the Georgia game. I am undefeated.

Ainge has thrown for 2137, yards, 23 touchdowns and only 1 interception. He is 83-110 attempts and completions.

Foster has 994 yards and 12 touchdowns.

So here comes the Georgia game.......... :banghead:

Ok, first play I run a direct snap out of four wide to see how fast their outside linebackers and defensive ends are. Foster breaks out for a 20 yard run and fumbles but he recovers the ball.

All right now it is time for a short pass, I forget what I even called, but snapped the ball took 2 steps and I was speared and the ball flew out and their defense recovered for a touchdown.

Ok, I figured, nice conservative play, half back iso out of I. Foster gets 4 yards. I figure I can destroy their pass rush by going into I and doing the running back angle. Play works to perfection, 8 guys come I lob the ball over their d-line but the middle linebacker jumps 10 feet straight up and with one had intercepts the ball.

Yada yada yada they get a field goal.

Ok, now I am just pissed so I want to try and stretch the field. No go, strong half back crosses, go deep and their playmaker safety grabs the ball.

Yada yada yada.....field goal.

Ok, now it is just stupid............nice conservative play......throw to the full back out in the flat, nope, fumble......

Yada yada yada....20-0 less than a minute before the half.....

Finally I just start running wide sweeps and direct snaps to Foster and he gets me into field goal range and I cut it to 20-3 at the half.

I had the ball for 1:17 the entire half! *10 minute half 5 minute quarters.

Second half is a different story but to make a long story short I ended up losing the game 31-24. Georgia's running back nailed me for over 200 yards. In fact I had a chance to get the ball back with about a minute and a half left in the game but I could not stop them on 3 and 4.

I was in a 44 defense and I knew it would be a sweep left. My linebacker hit him in the back field and he broke it and he got hit by two more guys but fell foward to seal the game.

Talk about the shaft! Doh!

Sorry had to vent!

where is direct snap? what formation?

Shotgun Flex, a couple of clicks down.

There's another direct that works pretty well too. Not sure where that was. One of the shotguns.

Tough break OE, I think stuff like that has happened to everyone at some point.

What will really make ya mad is when you're about to core on Florida with about 8 seconds left to go in the game.....I was out of timeouts so I didn't have time to get down field and stop the clock....So I threw a slant route over the middle and they picked it off and took it to the house....ended up beatin me 21-14....Is it just me, or when you get this game its harder at first?

I believe it is. I made my own custom playbook, so maybe it's not. However, I'm pretty sure it's in there. If not, just add the shotgun flex into your playbook.

really? i still havent seen shotgun flex.

and owb, i think this may be something left out in 360 again.

i click my ncaa, then after that strategy, and all i see is audibles.

You're playing the 360 version? then I'm unsure. Maybe they took it out for some reason.

2007 is odd. It seems like in some random games the computer will play you waaaaaaay harder than normal. But the next time you play the same team, you beat the snot outta them. Go figure

Just had 6 friggin turnovers vs. the Gators. 2 INTs were made by LBs that somehow moonwalked backwards 10 yards in the last second, along with 4 fumbles. Lost 20-17. Un-frickin-real.

A little background, I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University, so I make a Eastern Kentucky team with family and friends and then add them to the ACC replacing Duke. I make every one with an overall rating of 86.

Well I won the National Championship with EKU and I started my second season.

Ok, I blow out Louisville in the first game 66-14.

Second game I have Northwestern, so I am thinking, big stat game right?

First five posessions for Northwestern equal touchdowns. I was down 35-21 at the half. Their momentum stayed up to full till about half way through the third quarter.

I ended up winning 66-48 but for pete's sake, Northwestern!

Terrell Sutton had 421 all purpose yards. He destroyed my defense! He was doing every thing, running and catching the ball!
