I truly hope and pray I’m wrong, but we can’t win a national championship if it 8 on 5 every game. Call me a whiner if you want, but that was objectively a terribley officiated game. The most obvious example was Grant being called for a foul for being elbowed in the face, and Grant being called for taking a shoulder to the face. It was abhorrent. LSU shot 31 free throws, UT shot 16. It was a sham. You can say Tennessee could’ve won anyhow, and that’s true. But they shouldn’t have to do extra to overcome the refs. They should just have to beat LSU

Officiating was bad but the Vols blew it:
--7 pt lead and a flagrant 1 foul on LSU: LT missed both free throws and Pons walked in the open court, Vols gave up a 3 and it was on
--Had a 5 pt lead iwith 1:57 left and the ball.

LSU was more physical, more confident and just flat out tougher than the Vols all day. Let a freshman guard drive to the basket at will the entire second half. Beat the Vols without their best player in the line up.

Vols have lost their edge and at times looked scared today. Then still have a shot to win at the end and Lamonte Turner takes a terrible shot and then fouls a guy on the other end of the floor with less than a second left. Dumb basketball

This is always a terrible argument. Just because it’s possible to overcome officiating doesn’t mean they should have to. Every team will make mistakes every game, but when it’s compounded by fragulent officiating, it becomes unfair

They missed an absolute clear foul on Grant hitting Mays in the head on his 3 before the end of regulation. It was awful today

Pons didn't walk, he was called for a phantom offensive foul, one of about 5 on us in the game.

Walker should have played 2nd half as Alexander doesn't play physical well.!

The refs didn't make those stupid passes, the refs didn't make TN come up empty taking technical shots and the ensuing possession, they didn't make Bone make an idiotic intentional foul, they didn't make Turner shoot a 3 with 4 secs left. This team has a LOT to clean up, arguably on-court intelligence being #1.

Officiating has been bad for years but it's been especially horrid this season. As far as today, that arena was rocking and that definitely helps the whistles blow. It's a shame TBA can't provide that atmosphere.
Gotta get the blue hairs to give up their seats which isnt possible due to the lifetime seats issue.

Your right.............Barnes has got to get Walker in the game more and get him comfortable, but he plays him so off and on, I just don't think he ever gets lathered up and get into the flow of the game......

Kentucky will win the reg season ship............Tenn is starting to make ALL the bonehead plays during games that juniors and seniors should NOT be making..... I mean c'mon BONE should know you can't grab a person on fastbreak.........JUST STUPID..... that's tells you he has a LOW IQ and he has mental lapses during games like when he took the ball out and threw it out of bounds.........

I'm not arguing that you're wrong, but LSU shot so many FTs because they attacked the basket. We settled for shots outside the paint and avoided contact. My guess is that the points in the paint comparison is embarrassing.
