I still would have been disappointed with the way this game was played. I never got the feeling that we had a chance to win this game because I never knew where our points were going to come from. I think this game was decided around the 10 minute mark when Goins threw the ball out of bounds on an attempt to get it to Tatum when we had a chance to stretch the lead to five.

No reason we shouldn't have beat Purdue by 15

Good game by both teams, but very sloppy. I like Goins' intensity, but he needs to be more in control. You HAVE to call a timeout when you cross half court! Set up some sort of play Bruce! Hopefully they will not let something like that happen again. Terrible finish to a pretty good game.

I completely agree. Anybody who has ever played basketball knows what to do in that situation, call a timeout and set up a play. We were destroying them inside...and we were clearly much more athletic. This is just another example of Bruce's unorthodox coaching techniques, or lack there of.
