I know this has been discussed ad nauseum, but has anybody ever heard a reporter ask CBJ or has CBJ ever commented on why Evan isn't involved in the offense?

We keyboard warriors and arm chair coaches know he should play a role, but has there ever been a published reason from our staff as to why he hasn't?

He's a kick returner. That's what he does best. The world is full of great return men that don't see the field much otherwise.

Because if we put Evan out there 1, who do you think is getting the ball and 2, it's not the same as returning kicks where he has time to get up to speed

Berry is fast period ,a lot faster than Hurd and does Hurd have time to get up to speed ?

Risk of injury is even higher IMO. They want to use our best return guy and he has a high enough risk of injury as is.

Doesn't make sense to me. Built like a RB, faster than either of our RBs, has great vision and an incredible 2nd gear that Hurd and Kamara both lack.

Agree... but not much about our offense has made sense for the past 2 years... Put the best athletes on the field... Heck, Kelly is faster than Hurd and Kamara...

So how much time did he need to get up to speed as the Georgia high school state champ in the 100m?
