Did everybody get a good look at the shot he took? Mouthpiece flew out and rigid arms when he hit the ground. That must the be the fastest pass of concussion protocol in sports history. He got absolutely lit up. I hope he's okay for next week, but more importantly, gets the treatment he deserves.

Also, I loved when Warrior crushed #12. That dude needed a dose of retribution.

Anyone know how to post that play?
Everyone say it should have been targeting, but since it happened so fast, I did not notice.

By definition, it was targeting. The player left his feet and hit him directly in the head. That's what the rule is there to prevent. I'm not sure how it wasn't called.

The guy who hit him is a real POS

So I guess JRM is a POS? Or the played who hit #12 later? A lot of these plays are super fast, and it's hard to say they are doing it on purpose. Certainly some targeting is purposeful, but I'm not sure #12 was going there to KO Berry the same way JRM wasn't going out to hit the PR.

Knee jerk reaction whenever someone you cheer for is hit like that.

This should have been a targeting call and we should have kept the ball.

That's EXACTLY RIGHT!

If they are gonna call Warrior for targeting on his block, then it was targeting on aTm's #12 because the crown of his helmet hit Berry right in the middle of his face mask!

I HATE the rule.....but I hate the lack of CONSISTENCY among officials in making the call.....

And that unsportsmanlike call against Bates on aTm's #12 was SUPER RIDICULOUS!!!

:salute:

Kept saying the same the about #12. I actually thought it was a good block but might be a little biased.

Lots of borderline dirty plays. Multiple targeting that wasn't called, lots of spearing, horse collars, hooking our receivers. Plus someone on the sidelines kept blowing a whistle on crucial plays who wasn't a ref. including the long run by Knight.

That kickoff was the perfect example of targeting. Lead with the spear and hit him right in the facemask, yet wasn't called.

Officiating was absolutely brutal. Missed targeting, missed plenty of holds on A&M, a few questionable calls that shoudlve been pass interference, no review on Jennings possible catch (on the PI), no offsides calls on the left tackle (even though he made a habit of jumping early), etc.

There was no mistaken it, his crown went right into is facemask. There was clear white lines marked on the crown of his helmet!

I just think there is a lot of irony in people complaining about football being *****-fied...but whining when an opposing player taunts on the sideline. It's football, it's a tough sport. As long as it's contained, I don't mind a little trash talk or taunting.

I noticed that whistle too, not sure why somebody did not stop that from continuing through out game. They have the right to take it away or kick him or her out.

The LT jumped every other play expecting the snap.
Didn't get flagged until second half for false start. Buddy of mine there said the effing whistle was coming from all over the place.

When he was doing that. I would've liked to have been in the stands with a good sized rock.

That's a reviewable play this year. Why didn't Butch throw a huge fit and call time out to get it looked at. We might as well have. We basically took a knee at the end of the half with 2 remaining

Targeting call is against defenseless players. Berry was the ball carrier and not defenseless. Very hard hit but not targeting.
