Quick, random question.

In ya'lls opinion who evaluates talent better between scout, rivals, espn, and 247?

Rivals has been my favorite the past 5 years but I'm wondering if being biased is causing me to miss out on different or better sources

247. if you noticed, they were the only ones who had vandy properly ranked. Which was around 49th I believe.

I agree, but my question was between those 4 websites

Haha it's a joke..bc only coaches have the ability to to evaluate talent

But I prefer rivals. I'm like you tho and have been using them for a while and am not to sure about the rest. I think a lot really like 247 now..it was started by the guy who started rivals.

247 has surpassed Rivals, IMO. Espn is a distant third, and Scout rounds out the list. I prefer VolNation, though, as you get lots of good, free information.

IIRC, 247 was started by some guys who left Rivals after they were bought by Yahoo. Rivals was once about "the product". After Yahoo took over, they cut staff and started focusing on profit. Sometimes product quality and profit go hand in hand... but seldom in mass entertainment.

Rivals was once about research and providing accurate info. They are now more about getting subscriptions by finding the highest demand.... which is more about feeding fans what they want to hear.

i just wait to see who Saban wants

I hate to agree with you, but he is very consistent in evaluating, landing, and developing the talent. Looking at recruiting this year to this point, Bama, Georgia, and Florida have 10 **** commits and LSU 11. I sure hope UT can pull some of those away.
