Butch is too stubborn to admit he is wrong, he allowed this team to unravel and because of his reckless regard to players and coaches, he should be fired. I know everyone who reads these types of blogs knows what will happen. UT will lose recruits, rebuild a offense and start from scratch, but I say this, when you make these types of monumental mistakes (Butch), he should the one to say, I am resigning, but his stubbornness won't allow him to admit he did anything wrong, and that my friends is a powerful character flaw.

Don't get me wrong, I am not arguing, but "reckless regard for players and coaches" please explain for me.

As to losing recruits, if (a big if) a new offense coach is brought in and is coming from an exciting, good system we won't loose many recruits. It seems to me the guys we have gotten lately don't fit this system anyway. Maybe the will fit a different system and changing won't be too bad a deal.

I do agree Butch seems to be to stubborn. Or not smart enough to deal with a system change that he knows. Which, buy the way, I doubt it's "his system" anyway. Just one he adopted a long time ago.

As we can see the players giving up on Butch and his system, I can give up too. We deserve better than Butch with his constant lies and BS....I'll answer any questions you may have....

Hey Gandalf.... isn't this 1 of your posts ? "Sorry guys - cant stay and watch this any more. Too painful. Time to do somethihing else today....and prabably with the rest of my saturdays too. Too many dissapointmments"

We are all thinking the same thing...For a team to crumble like this says a lot about Coach Jones, this season was supposed to heal everyone from the BS over the past decade. However, Tennessee football is not back and I am just as pissed as every fan on this forum.

Oh, I am not faulting your emotional response, which whether warranted or not, is surely understandable given the circumstance - only the humorous declarative of your readiness and implied imprimatur to answer questions. :p
