ETSU Going Dancing

Former Bruce Pearl assistant at UT, Steve Forbes, is taking ETSU dancing at the NCAAs for the 2nd time in 5 years as their head coach. Good for him. Doing a nice job up in Johnson City.

I believe they were projected to make the tournament even if they didnt win the tournament. They've had some top 25 votes the past few weeks

Probably depends on if the Bucs go one and done, or if they can get a win. A lot of teams might also consider his team in 2018. They pretty much had the regular season title and at least an NIT bid practically in the bag, just needed 1 more win, lost their last three games, and lost in Asheville.

He's definitely brought new life to the program at ETSU, but if I where a power 5 AD, I'd want to see him win a game or two in the tournament, or see if he can get in or at least get an NIT bid next year.

With Beilein on the job market, I would think he is in line for a head coaching job if a major college decides to acquire a new coach this off season.

Yep, this 30-win team was magical, and had the size to match up with good teams. They manhandled LSU in Baton Rouge, and played well at Allen Fieldhouse in the loss to Kansas.
