Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday. My apologies if this has already been posted but I didn't see it while scanning through posts. ESPN has Tennessee at #3 in its way-too-early power rankings. I think that's right where the Vols should be coming into this season. Tennessee should only have a couple of tough SEC games this year (Alabama, Georgia, maybe Florida just because it's Florida) so I would definitely be shocked if the Vols don't win 10 games and take the East.
I was pleasantly surprised to see UK ranked 11th. Kentucky needs to beat Vanderbilt and South Carolina at home this season and then Missouri on the road and that should be enough for six wins. Mississippi State is the swing game in the Cats getting seven wins. I think seven wins is probably best case scenario but that would be huge for Stoops going into 2017.
Thoughts on this or the other rankings?
