It was painfully obvious they wanted tonight to be the set up to push Klubnik to be the Heisman front runner for next season. Instead, from looking at the kid's jersey by the end of the game you would have thought green was an official color of Clemson. Well, at least we are all now scholars on all things Klubnik thanks to ESPN's lobbying.

He's a good QB.
They don't have Championship caliber players around him YET. Just Shipley really.

They need to hit the portal HARD.

The announcers told me how Shipley wasn’t even their best rb and how they had awesome receivers and tight ends. The recruiting services tell me they have one of the top 5 most talented teams. Wish we could have such weak players

They have won multiple NC's in recent history. If they do not have high caliber players at this point, I'm not exactly sure they are going to get them.

In all honesty, Clemson is starting to seem like yesterdays news on a few fronts.

This! Dabo won his championships poaching players that were originally going to be Vols.

This is why I turn off the tv announcers and listen to Bob on the radio.

Klubnik will be good at Clemson, but there is absolutely no sense in ESPN doing what they do. Did they show Hooker’s family or Milton’s family at any point? Milton is from South Florida and had plenty of people there. I’m glad the Vols spoiled the party.

Cade will be a good QB. That being said, I have never seen such propaganda for a freshman making his first start. There was a graphic in another bowl game ALREADY discussing Klubnik as a potential Heisman candidate for next season, which is mind-boggling. He made some good plays, but also made a ton of mistakes, yet the announcers had an excuse every time. This whole thing was just bizarre.

This might be the best thing to happen to Klubnik. He saw what the college game is, and how quickly it can go bad. He made inexperienced decisions. He probably out talented kids in high school. Can’t really do that in college where the talent is more equal. I think he will be alright.
Dabo on the other hand made some terrible decisions, and one year of going down can be an anomaly. Two years of not reaching expectations starts to feel like a trend. Not having an allstar qb, and losing his assistant coaches have hurt him it appears. Only time will tell.

That's all defense. And only amateurs give recruiting rankings any clout anyway.

Too many "tough" guys at their skill position on offense 🤣.
