At least Kerbyson finally got some well deserved respect.

Cam gets left off these lists because a lot of people are just looking at stats. People can't watch every player in every game

Shutdown corners like Cam don't accumulate stats because the ball isn't thrown their way

Just how it is

Stats are a lot like bikini's. They show a lot, but not everything.

Que the "ESPN hates us"

The ESPN.com 2015 All-SEC Team - SEC Blog- ESPN

I think a couple players got snubbed here personally. How is Cam Sutton not on this list and two florida DB's are, as well as JRM getting left off another All-SEC list

Who would JRM replace on their list? Hard to argue. Same for Cam. Both those Fla corners are legit, and Cam didn't have an All-conference season outside of the return game.

We all love Hurd, but that's a deep position - and Chubb was hurt or it would've been even deeper. Dline is deep too. I think Barnett is no doubt one of the top 4 linemen, but he got off to a slow start (due in no small part to Maggitt's injury).

The only real snub IMO is Trevor Daniel, yet I'm sure Texas A&M thinks that about their guy too.

The biggest snub I've seen on any list is Evan Berry left off both 1st and 2nd teams of USA Today All-America list. That's laughable.

RB is not just a deep position, Fournette and Henry are just better than Hurd.....and NB4 they don't have to run behind our Oline like Hurd

True, Hargreaves is a really good player BUT on just about every TD scored against UF this year, he is in the frame of the picture.

Agreed but I will say that I believe Hurd is a better ALL around back if you throw in blocking and receiving. I also believe he would have had a better year statistically behind a better OL like Arkansas and Alabama but I don't think he'd put up Henry numbers or carries.

We all need a good laugh every once and awhile. Thank you for providing that moment for all of VN.

Hurd will light it up next season behind a much improved O line.

His time is coming.

Hurd will be in our record books big time by the time his Senior season is over.

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

When you have Henry, Fournette, Hurd, & Alex Collins in one conference, I'd say that qualifies as deep when handing out superlatives. I never said Hurd was as good as Fournette or Henry, because that's not the point. Hurd has had a really good year by any standard - he just hasn't had as good a year as the others.

Throw in a healthy Nick Chubb and that's 5 deep at the RB position for the league. What other league can boast that lineup?

It's not that laughable. It's conceivable that Hurd could very well end up with a better NFL career than Henry because of the blocking and receiving abilities.

The NFL will salivate over Fournette. They will be pretty fired up about guys like Nick Chubb, Zeke Elliot, and probably Dalvin Cook. Even McCaffery has more potential at the next level than Henry.

Where Hurd will fall into that discussion I think has a lot to do with our 2016 season's progress - especially that of our oline. Because of his upright running style, it will take a good fit for him in the pros ala Eddie George.

I think Collins might have the best NFL career. 17 TD's, 1400 yards with an 80 yarder as well. I just would like to see Hurd eventually break off a long run. We have played a few bad teams this year and he has failed to reel off a long gainer. Kamara and Dobbs all have much longer runs ( 63 and 62 versus 48).

Collins joins Hershel Walker and Darren McFadden as the only SEC backs in history to run for more than 1000 yards in each of their first 3 seasons. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

I think Jalen Hurd is probably the best all around back in the SEC when you count taking it up the gut, getting tough yards, getting to the edge and turning upfield (especially at his size) pass blocking, and pass catching but only about the 5th best actual runner behind Henry, Fournette, Collins, and Chubb.

Your probably not far off in your rankings, but I don't think I'd trade Hurd for any of the above RB's, with the exception of Derrick Henry
