Woodson is the psAA QB, McFadden got RB. I thought Hef would get nod at safety but he did not. No big surprise considering the organization.

Uh, no. Apparantley Ivan Maisel, in all his genius, put Andre Woodson over JDB as the best QB in the country.

Here it is:

QB: Andre Woodson, Kentucky
RB: Darren McFadden, Arkansas
FB: Owen Schmitt, West Virginia
WR: DeSean Jackson, California
WR: Adarius Bowman, Oklahoma State
TE: Martellus Bennett, Texas A&M
OT: Sam Baker, USC
OT: Jake Long, Michigan
C: Steve Justice, Wake Forest
G: Will Arnold, LSU
G: Andrew Crummey, Maryland

DE: Lawrence Jackson, USC
DT: Glenn Dorsey, LSU
DT: Sedrick Ellis, USC
DE: Tommy Blake, TCU
LB: Keith Rivers, USC
LB: James Laurinaitis, Ohio State
LB: Ali Highsmith, LSU
CB: Malcolm Jenkins, Ohio State
CB: DeJuan Tribble, Boston College
S: Kenny Phillips, Miami
S: Tom Zbikowski, Notre Dame

PK: Sam Swank, Wake Forest
P: Durant Brooks, Georgia Tech
KR: Marcus Thigpen, Indiana

I know. If you're going to pick a QB from a team that has very little chance of making a BCS game then why not select Colt Brennan or Paul Smith? I guess they just wanted to be different and not annoint Booty, although they do have 4 guys from USC on the first team.

Woodson is their pre-Season AA QB for the NATION (America).

By the end of the season, Woodson will be shown to be no better than the 2nd best quarterback in the STATE.

EDIT: Check that. It will probably only take until the end of the first game of the season.

This has the makings of a classic choke job written all over it.

Louisville lost 7 defensive starters, including 3/4 of the secondary (sound familiar?). That game will be a shoot out and I will not be the least bit surprised if the total final score breaks 100.

Anybody know why this guy from Chatt didn't go to UT?

He went to UNC for one year and then was kicked out for drugs. When he transfered I asked his coach why OSU? He said it was really the only school he looked at. I asked about UT and he said he didn't really like the program. But this is coming from his coaches mouth and not his.
EDIT: ESPN Hates Us!!!!!!!!!!!!

I figured he must just not like UT... but we're a hell of a lot better than UNC and Okla. St.

One of the reasons he gave for committing to UNC was academics but if you listen to him speak he sounds border line retarded.

I wonder if scholarship athletes at UNC only have to qualify based on the in-state student standards. Close to 20 years ago a HS friend of mine, who was sweet as anything but dumb as a bucket of rocks, used her parents' vacation home address in order to apply to UNC as a state resident and she got in no problem. Several people I knew who applied as non-residents and who had near 4.0 GPAs, very high SATs and lot's of extra curriculars were denied admission.

You're right, UNC's 3-9, 2-10, 6-6, 5-6, 3-9 records are not much better than UT.

I was accepted to their grad school but applying was a bitch! One of my classmates had a 3.8 and had tons of extra curricular activities and he didn't get in to their program. It is very tough to get in at UNC. Or at least I should say if you are an out-of-stater.

Anyone a little miffed that ANYONE from the Notre Dame defense made this list? Especially in the place of Hefney.

If I saw this list and didn't know who it was that made it, I would've guessed ESPN. It looks exactly like their College Gameday coverage, team by team.
