Just curious. Why is everybody in the mind-set that we can't beat Fla or Bama this year. Seems like our players had that mind-set and brought about their own demise over the years. I'm a firm believer the new staff will not accept or condone this attitude. I have an American dollar that says we win one or the other.

I hope your right but we will need a QB to step it up quite a bit to beat them.

I read on a thread over the week end that Kiffin recruited Crompton at USC. Reading posts here it is a split between Stephens and Coleman. I just feel Kiffin has a plan and since he coaches for a living and I don't I''ll just stick to my faith he "pulls a rabbit out of the hat".

Yes we will be in a bowl game next season. I see more big games than bama and gators, one of which is Ole Miss at Ole Miss...don't you think Coach O has that date circled on his calendar! I would not want to face that man if I did not give my all for Tennessee that particular day. I also think the Auburn and Georgia games are big and I'll even throw SoCaro in to the mix...we need to beat those three in 09 to reestablish who we are. GO VOLS

As long we get problems fixed with our QB'S, then I think there's a chance we could go 10-2 in 2009.I think Florida gonna be the big one to get past.The reason I believe we have a pretty good chance against bama is because Im not sold on AJ Mcarron just yet, but playing in Tuscaloosa will be a factor.Ole Miss will be a tough one to get by as well and I know its in Oxford too, but we'll just have to wait and see about that one.Overall I think Tennessee will finish with a bid to play in the capital one bowl.
