They had that violation planned from the get-go. I guess we're going to be hearing more about this.

Just one more thing to prove that ESPN hates us!

Layla Kiffin gets hotter every time I see her.

You know they did this intentionally just to be able to say
"The University of Tennessee reports another Secondary Violation for the media coming into contact with the recruits on ESPN's Outside The Lines."

Sure they said some good things but mostly they bashed him on recruting violations and other comments.

Seems like beginning of thread would have been a little clearer.

Doesn't sound like a big deal, but I question the integrety of ESPN for not saying something. Unless Lane wanted it to be shown. Perhaps another publicity ploy?

Or how about "ESPN facilitates a secondary violation." ESPN comes off looking bush league in this one. They are basically reporting themselves as a accomplice.

He already has an ESPN special on him. It would be stupid for him to get a violation for pub.

violations are never good, is that the 6th one we've had? that is definetlely not good

One could argue these aren't really "violations" considering there is no form of punishment for them...

Also, I'm not sure what the deal is with them showing Lane and Eddie talking to a recruit... What am I missing?

Does anyone know who the recruits were in the video? ESPN said it was filmed around the time of the spring game

What makes them so bad? Having to listen to Skip Bayless ramble on about how Lane is going to destroy the UT football program while Vandy is the sleeper pick to win the east? Doesn't he say that stuff anyway?

I don't see the violation in Kiffin talking to a recruit. As long as he didn't say his name I don't see what the big deal is.

Did Kiffin or Gran say the recruits name?

No the rule is that the Media cant be in the room while a coach has contact with a recruit. which happened.

I don't think that matters. Bob Ley mentioned it was rule 13.0.1 which says, "Media members can't observe recruiting contact by coaches."
