Did anyone else notice that during the game tonight?

When they showed CLK walking up the aisle, had him tagged as "Lane Kiffen"

Just file it away in the ESPN sucks category...

I had to stare at the back of his bald head the entire game.

I'm not a big Vitale fan...never have been and never will be.

Dick is a true 'Dick Head'!!!!!!! He said they several times when referring to UT. But, kept talking about how great UF was. ESPN in general doesn't like us. Dick is near the top of the list.

Dick also said 8 Big East teams were better than every SEC team. Well, we aren't even tied for first place in the SEC east in basketball. Yet, we beat Georgetown and Marquette. So, suck your on balled 'Dick Head', Dick!!!!!!!

Me either, i cant stand him, i think he's obnoxious, i hate his stupid catchphrases, and no matter what game hes calling somewhere in it he always makes sure he mentions how that game is not as good as duke-unc....the sporting world would be better if he retired and just did charity work

He loves FL because he and Donovan , aka I can't ever beat Bruce Pearl, are really close so of course he will give them props

I actually met vitale at O'hare awhile back. He was very nice and surprisingly soft-spoken.

Dick Vitale has made it clear that he has a man-crush on Billy Donovan. If it wasn’t for Duke and North Carolina, Dick :moon2: Vitale would be Florida’s self-appointed mascot. Dick has also made public statements in the past making it clear that he dislikes Bruce Pearl for doing the right thing years ago over that Illinois recruiting scandal. Bruce only reported on what Illinois was doing because NCAA rules and ethical standards require a coach to report any violation that he knows about. Holding a grudge against someone for doing the wrong thing is understandable, but Dick is so buddy-buddy with members of the coaching fraternity that doesn’t include Bruce Pearl that let Bruce’s doing the RIGHT thing get under his skin on their behalf. If it were up to me, Old Dick would NEVER be allowed into T-B arena or anywhere on the UT campus. At least not until he makes a public apology to Bruce Pearl. Don’t expect Old Dickie to ever say anything praiseworthy about UT. He’ll brown-nose Florida and his other favorites until he finally croaks, but never say anything positive about UT coaches or athletes no matter how great the accomplishments. I think that’s a good reason to hate the worthless old fart. :tease2:
