Disney bought Fox recently too, CBS is the only thing stoping them from having a monopoly.
As others have mentioned they outages will continue to happen because Disney will continue to squeeze harder on tv providers.
Fans will pay the cost of that.
It was a hard decision with 3 kids under 6 years old and 2 girls who love princess movies and mickey mouse, but my wife and I decided to finally cut ties with Disney. We can't support a company that puts out the things they put out with a clear conscious.Disney is gone for me. Their Streaming channel sucks losing tons of money then Disney leverages college football to subsidize their woke agenda. The SEC and college football as a whole sold their soul Disney.
ESPN has always pulled this stuff. It only got worse when they joined Disney. I'm with Dish on this one. They are they only thing keeping prices in check at all.
I'm on Sling, which Dish owns. It's certainly the cheapest streaming option for live tv. Most folks on here seem to prefer YouTube TV though.I'm with dish on the dispute for sure, and I am sure ESPN/Disney was leveraging them to the hilt. I want to leave Dish for other reasons, namely that I don't need the great majority of the 800+ channels I am paying for and they are IMO greatly overpriced.
I am long past due for "pulling the cord" and going 100% streaming

Remember, you'll need a cable login to watch anything on the main network through the app. ESPN+ doesn't cover that. Sling has a built in dvr, I assume YTTV does too. I haven't looked at Google tv. Fubo also looks good. But it doesn't have TNT/TBS and that's a deal breaker for me.YouTube was recommended to me. I have Googlefiber for internet, so I am going to look into Google TV also.
I also have ESPN+ through Verizon (my phone provider). The only problem with ESPN+ is it doesn't buffer the games, so no freezing the game or playback. That's a pretty big liability these days lol
