I was really hoping for an 8pm Kickoff for LSU vs FL. The Gators deserve to feel the full wrath of Death Valley at night for the way they handled themselves regarding this game. I am Vol through and through but by God! GEAUX TIGERS this saturday!!! I hope Florida's hopes of the east title get crushed in Baton Rouge!!

Part of the agreement for the rescheduled game at LSU was that it wouldn't be a night game.

WOW....Gators are scared. They probably asked for a 10 point spot to start the game too. Man I hope they get beat down!!

Florida is gonna finish this year like last year, on a losing streak. They will be happy for a loss to LSU so they won't have to lose to bama. It's my understanding that the only reason they rescheduled was to make LSU eligible for the SECCG, the gators new they would lose to LSU and was counting on us to win out after bama, so they wouldn't have to face bama this year. That's one of the reasons they lost to Ar, to avoid Atlanta, and they are an inferior team.

I just can't see Florida being able to score enough points to beat LSU. I think LSU would have to give them some help turnovers for UF to win.. You never know.. Florida could come in there and play lights out. I'd be fine with trying to win out and get to the best bowl possible.

Hopefully it's not the same people that came up with the polls for the Presidential election.

I'm calling BS on your theory. That mind set might work in video gaming...not in SEC football. As for playing Bama...I don't think anyone looks forward to playing them...including us!

Whatever--the fact remains that we blew this season, certainly blew any opportunity for it to be a notably good season, with the south carolina loss. Even if florida loses, does going to the SECG and getting hammered again help the cause? I

Getting to the SEC Championship game should be the goal every year no matter what the outcome might be!!!
I would rather be in Atlanta than at home... :hi:

Yes. Because as we've all complained around here for months that we need to be playing for championships. And the SEC championship is a championship. And it's a precursor to playing for a national championship. So yes it helps and yes we need to play for it.

And no UF didnt decide they didn't want it because they are afraid of Bama and didn't see the point. If they don't make it then they didn't take care of business it's that simple.

While fans may make these kinds of idiot logic decisions every time a D1 team takes the field they are trying to win. Winning might be a tough row to hoe, but that is their goal. And that is our goal with Atl

I just don't think it is a gimme Florida loses on Saturday. They've been playing good football but Bama, Arkansas, Florida is a tough run.

If Florida make a couple of plays this will be TIGHT.

Should have taken care of our business against TAMU and USCe and not been in this position.

Curious to hear your opinion on who really shot JFK. The Russians? The Cubans? The Mafia? Joe DiMaggio?

For all you whining why do you keep watching and even care. Most want to win the east if you don't we really don't need them kind of fans. This is the SEC, nobody turns down division titles under no circumstance. Quit your whining, if you don't like it don't watch. GBO!!!!!

Nothing is a gimme, in this league nearly every team has a coulda shoulda woulda game or even 2. That is even more reason to want that divisional title no matter what. No matter what it says your the best in your division, to not strive for #1 in any circumstance is just foolish, that's why you play the game. GBO!!!!

It helps recruiting to be in the SEC Championship game. Also, Alabummer can be beaten. I recall losing an SEC Championship game to a backup QB in 2001 when we were ranked #2 in every poll and favored to beat LSU. Not likely that we will upset Alabubba but not impossible either.
