Usually espn is all over a story when an assistant leaves a program and gets replaced by someone else...its weird how they haven't really even mentioned anything about practically all our coaches leaving and being replaced. do you think its because they know we are in meltdown or do you think its just because its irrelevant to them?

I am sure they came and read Volnation , Volchat and Vol quest and said wow they are in a meltdown let's not release anything just yet .........There are coaches leaving and getting jobs all across the country , it really isn't earth shattering news

This has nothing to do with a meltdown or ESPN not caring, they realize we are under a new AD and that we have a relatively new coach. And if we were in the national spotlight we would hear more as well.

My sources tell me that after 2012 ESPN will no longer show Tennessee games, they just said it's being done out of spite....Gosh ESPN hates us...

Good grief. This is pretty ridiculous. ESPN typically reports high profile assistants leaving, not line coaches or ST coaches. Given the fact that UT has been down a while there's no real reason to report out OL line coach (wasn't our run game one of the worst in the country last year) leaving.

As AJ said, ESPN hates our assistants.

Carry on.

Am I missing something, but didn't we just have the lead story two days ago on the Recruiting Nation site? It talked about this very thing and how Dooley was still able to hold onto the class.

ESPN knows that they cannot compete with Volnation's own insiders. Anything they could report, our insiders have already informed us at least a week before ESPN even knew about it. ESPN hates Volnation Insiders.

They are too busy creating their next "roll tide" commercial and must have missed the news. How the heck is that legal through the ncaa. Isnt that a recruiting advantage to get free advertising like that. Costs the school nothing and they get all that exposure. I can think of 3 different commercials espn has done for them. Not fair IMO. Lets bombard the ncaa with phone calls.

:lolabove:Is this another one of your thinly veiled fire Dooley posts? Just say it again and someday you might get your wish.

nope, i just thought with the fact that all our assistants(practically) have left or been asked to leave (depending on who you believe) that it would have got a lot more attention on the news...so far the only people talking about it is a couple of radio talk show hosts...and supposedly they are liars and morons. its all anybody cared to talk about on here for weeks but its no big deal its not covered by espn...nothing to see here..right?
