ESPN/ABC just went out on YouTube TV

This is not due to multiple users. You can't share passwords with this app. He's trying to watch multiple ESPN streams and it's not letting him.
You can have three separate streams at once and there's also a multi-view option.

That said, I HATE the espn app. Half the time I can't get it to load when the game starts or I can't find it listed. Also my phone is constantly harassing me about connecting streamcenter on my phone to my tv. It's a terrible experience.

This is so stupid. Someone can correct me but I was watching Georgia on sling. Keep in mind it shows both Georgia and Tennessee playing on ABC. Georgia goes off and it starts showing South Carolina game. It took me 20 minutes to find Tennessee and the channel was ESPN3. Yet in bottom left corner of channel it says SEC on ABC.

Well mow that the Vols are out of the playoffs they should lower prices to get others to watch.

I did the same but I am absolutely hating this UI. I'm sticking with YT.

Agree, the Fubo UI is hideous, and as a result the DVR function is awful and impossible to use. It's pretty sad that YTTV is so far ahead of the pack with regard to streaming quality, but that's where it is right now.

Glad I don’t have it this morning so that I’m not tempted to watch the SEC Network. Don’t think I can stomach the lowlights or the commentary.

Some things that can be done to encourage Youtube TV to settle the ESPN dispute.
From ChatGPT:

On the YouTube TV app or site:

  1. Go to your profile picture → Help → Send feedback.
  2. Write something like:
“Please bring ESPN and Disney-owned channels back to YouTube TV. They’re essential to my viewing experience and a key reason I subscribe.”

This goes directly to YouTube TV’s product and partnership teams.

📨 2. Post on Social Media

Public feedback can make a big difference during negotiations.

  • Tag @YouTubeTV and @espn on X (Twitter), Facebook, or Instagram.
  • Example post:
“@YouTubeTV please bring back @espn! Sports fans rely on these channels — I’d love to keep my subscription but need ESPN coverage!”

This shows both companies there’s strong viewer demand.

📧 3. Email or Chat with YouTube TV Support

You can contact them here:

Ask politely but firmly that they prioritize renewing their deal with ESPN.

Weird cause I’ve been able to pick up all the ABC games on my ESPN plus app
I also do not have ESPN unlimited. I just have plus.

I was able to watch all the SEC games on ABC the whole day.

the other wierd thing tho is that my wife tried to watch the NYC marathon on ESPN2 and it said we have to upgrade our plan LOL

so I could watch ABC but not watch ESPNs own network.

Disney is Losing $5 Million Every DAY as TV Feud Continues to ruin games for NFL fans

Disney is losing a staggering amount of money each day that its carriage fee dispute with Google continues, it has been revealed.

Disney pulled all of its channels, including ESPN and ABC, off of Google's YouTube TV on October 30, enraging millions of sports fans ahead of a massive weekend of sports.

And the feud is certainly hurting Disney's pockets as well, as they're losing an estimated $5million per day according to Awful Announcing.

The math comes from the approximately 10 million monthly subscribers that YouTube TV has, and the $15 that Disney receives per month - per subscriber - from TV providers for their content.

All told, Disney would lose around $150 million per month if the ongoing feud stretches on that long.

Most people moved to other providers, so I don't think this number is accurate.

Since I cannot use espn + anymore, I cancelled my subscription after 20 years.

I’m putting my faith in Mike Keith to be able to entertain me. The folks at Disney are a bunch of junkies and they’re never going to get well as long as we support them. They don’t need any more money or influence. It’s just a high for them at this point.

Believe I will stick with Dish. Consistent platform for all 5 of my tvs. Hope Disney doesn't come after Dish anytime soon.
