I know this is stupid to some, but what is ESPN 3? Is it online or PPV or what? I really wanna sit back on my couch and watch the season opener in two weeks. How do I make this happen if I don't have ESPN 3 on my normal channel list? Please help...I'm ready for some TN football and can't miss the opener for the CBJ era!

Its free streaming online, if your carrier offers it.

ESPN3 is streaming online games. But if you live in Tennessee it will be blacked out there. You can get ppv or there are some sites that bootleg it on the internet. Somebody always puts up a link around gameday but you have to watch it on the computer unless you know how to link your computer to your television set.

firstrowsports.eu is a good one to get any game of any sport...little annoying with pop ups but it is what it is i guess and a cable to link your computer to the tv is probably ~10 at best buy

Smart TV setup and add PlayOn TV channel ($50 for life or some such). Has ESPN full lineup and about 100 other channels.

If you can get it on your computer you can cast it to your TV. Anything you can get on your computer with the Chrome browser can be sent to your TV by plugging in the Chromecast. It's $35 and plugs into your HDMI socket. They sold out in a day or two but they are working feverishly to get more. It's probably too late for the opener if you don't already have one but it will come in very handy down the line. I think they are only selling them through Best Buy, Amazon and Google.

Espn3 use to be espn360.com like 3 years ago. It has now been incoperated into the watchESPN platform and include simulcast of espn, espn2, espnu and varies other espn channels. Basically its w way to watch games not shown in your area online or via some form of app. If the game is blackec in your area or you do not have an espn service provider you will not be able to watch the game on espn3.

Has anyone used Apple TV through watch espn? Will that get the game or do I have to pay? I'm in AL so no blackout.

You have to have espn. You have to have Internet service. I use my iPhone & hook it up to my tv & use the WatchESPN app. Not sure what media hardware you can use to access the app other than Xbox or an iPhone or iPad.
