Did Dan Williams work out today? I didn't see any numbers for him on NFL.com

That's pretty damn good. Whenever I think of bench press at the combine, I'm reminded of Kevin Durant who couldn't even do 185 lbs 1 time.

Totally different sport and im guessing the Oklahoma City Thunder could care less what Durant benches as long as he can score like a hall of famer.

Duh, and duh. I just think it's extremely surprising (and a little pathetic) that a dominant pro athlete couldn't bench 185 lbs. I was 6' 2" 150 lbs and maybe the weakest senior on the football team in the HS weight room, but I did 200 lbs.

I don't see it as much pathetic as I just do odd, and mainly not pathetic because if you can play like he does why in the world would you need to bench any more?

it is much harder to bench with long arms. doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure that out. also, there are no college freshman at the nfl combine like there are for the nba.
on a side note, this isn't about you. in the you vs. durant comparison, he wins.

Who cares what Eric can bench. He can snap a man's neck in half with sheer intimidation. If he so chooses...

I guess that's partly true but Dwight Howard has long arms & he is a strong mofo.

Durants are ridiculously long for his height. There was a story in SI a few months ago about him and he said something about how hard it is for him to put on muscle

Not bad for Berry.

Considering Chris Scott did not do well on the weights, and I am hearing Dan Williams as well, is it a possibility former strength coach AA wasn't getting the job done?

No matter what you say about Johnny Long, the boys tossed around iron around combine time.
