I don't much about Twitter, but is that the people he is following on the right side? I noticed Percy Harvin was one of them...

He also just "tweeted" that he "weighed in at 205. Feeling pretty good"

If only he had someone to throw him the ball...

Until Crompton proves that he's able to hit his receivers I'm not too thrilled about having EB playing receiver. I'd hate to see him get hurt because Jonathan leads him right into the path of a charging DB.

0% chance Berry sees the field on Offense, unless we start the season 2-5...

He's officially a defensive player, and that's what he'll remain. We have too many possible playmakers at WR to warrant tiring our showstopper on 20 plays a game that require him to sprint without touching the ball.

Rogers is already out...

If nothing else, it would demand a double team, or at least give the opportunity to get him in on a screen and let him work. Who cares if they think he's getting the ball if you block for him?

I want my Eric Berry 100% when he's soaring arounding the defensive backfield.

He may come in to be used as a decoy every so often, but I doubt Monte is going to stand for him actually playing wide receiver. We need him on defense more. He'd have to be in phenomenal shape to still be such a threat at DB while playing offense the entire time as well.

I would think just having Berry on the field would help G. Jones and Hancock get open as opposing teams would definitely give him a lot of attention if he was on the field.

If Berry wants to play offense then let Berry play some offense. Whatever helps the team....That is what a Captain does.
We cant worry about him getting hurt, Injuries happen! But I would say it hurts more making tackles then it does dogging them. Berry is a beast, very explosive, and has a great hands...I think he would be a huge mismatch for a corner.

If Berry is going to be making some plays at WR this year... then UT is 100% launching an all out assault on a Berry for Heisman campaign... It's the only way a defensive player can win the Heisman, ie. Woodson... Woodson and Berry's #'s are very similar on defense, but Berry doesn't have the offensive #'s that Woodson did and that's what landed him the Heisman trophy over Peyton IMO

ABC had rights to the Big Ten. ESPN manufactured the Heisman hype for Woodson. Champ Bailey was better than Woodson then and wasn't even mentioned in the conversation. A Tennessee player for Kiffin will get no hype from ESPN or the sportswriters IMO. They want Kiffin to be the story, not a class player like Berry.

I keep hoping for him to Tweet (??) that he's staying for his senior year. Oh, and that he's been asked to play QB in 2010.

anybody else get nervous with EB playing this much? I know he'd benefit the offense but of course the risk of injury goes up as the playing time does.
