I can't believe no one is talking about the tackle that Berry missed where he had the Auburn back on the goal line and he ended up getting out to about the 7 yard line. That was a huge missed tackle there.

O please, Eric Berry is the only one on the team that realizes what wearing the orange uniform means.

I doubt it was Berrys missed tackle that cost us the game. Maybe you should look more at the other side of the ball.

Comical. Our most consistent player and you're bringing up one play he missed when the offense had the single most unproductive day in a decade. Brilliant.

and crompton fumbled it on the one, which I think costed us just a little bit more

Should we start a thread for every bad Crompton play? Cause Jesus knows it would take forever.

I thought it was a good broken tackle by a big back, if I remember the play.
Ben Tate broke it, then again, we shouldnt have our safetys trying to make tackles in the back field.

I say throw him off the team, We don't need superstars who miss tackles and stuff...Unforgiveable :bad::moon2:

one missed tackle isnt a big concern. what about all the missed tackles in the 2nd quarter. Eric is the one guy who is playing well. Unfortunatly he cant beat the other teams by himself.

Please, we have too many other glaring problems than to point out a missed tackle by one of the best defenders in the conference. What about having a QB that doesn't have the basic fundamental mechanics to succesfully run a play?

True there are alot more problems. If the offense did find something that works fulmer would just change it. why do something that works?

It is true that E. Berry did not have as big of a game as he has made us accustomed to...and he missed more than just that tackle, which is extremely unusual for him. However, unless he makes a habit of it, I'm not going to get worked up in the least about it. He is a heck of a player....he just needs to stay focused on improving week to week regardless of the team's W/L record.

if they weren't on the field for so long and so often maybe he wouldn't make a bad play. it was only a matter of time before even the best defensive players made mistakes with the way our offense was leaving them out to dry.

Eric Berry is probably the best player on the defense maybe the team. I saw the play, I thought it was more Auburn's player doing an awesome job avoiding a tackle more then anything. Eric Berry's technique is pretty solid.
