Wind Jammers - WSJ.com Not to impose on the TennNC website, I found this entertaining. Like Pickens, the Kennedys, and others, they talk about alternative energy, as long as its not where they can see it, or its on their land. "yeah we want it, just don't want to look at it"

I think there are many good enviros out there. The most extreme just give them a bad name (although there do seem to be many more wackos in their ranks these days).

i read an article where they were talking about pelosi is really backing Pickens idea because she's invested some serious dollars in the company who will putting up the windmills and developing the energy. Pelosi wants the government to subsidise this company to produce windmills. apparently she'll make some serious returns if the government starts paying this company. here is the article. it's actually a proposition up for vote in california

most people know the difference between conservationist, (which many hunter are) and a bunch of whacko anti-capitalists.

Yes, I've read that article and a few others on her dealings with this. In the end, its not about saving the planet, as much as it is having more control over her investment.
