Entire Season now Sold Out

How is not having tickets to sell later because you sold all of them previously a potential loss of revenue? They maximized their revenue at an early date. They now have a complete understanding of staffing level needs and can stop advertising, so they maximized revenue and possibly reduced expenses and maximized efficiency of staff. The only loss of revenue is not having more stadium capacity, which cannot be rectified in a short time period.

That's what I understood him to be saying. Really good points on the staffing and advertising. Now, if people would just use/donate/sell the tickets they have already purchased if they aren't going to the game.

I understood he was saying they lose out on walkup sales. You dont lose revenue if you've sold every ticket ahead of time. I thought he meant turning away those who fail to plan ahead was losing revenue. The timing of the sale is not lost revenue, but lower capacity than demand requires is the loss. You can't fix that in short order though.

My understanding is that we will be able to buy our tickets but no additional unless someone doesn’t want theirs then we can buy theirs. First come first

Baseball is a totally different animal from other sports, sometimes 5 games in a week at home. I agree as mentioned before, we need a better system to distribute unused tickets however that might prove to be difficult to do.
