Watch a rerun of USF vs. UCF. Absolutely, some of the best entertaining football, at any level, to watch all year.

Fantastic! That is what is needed in Neyland Stadium.

But who can deliver?

Frost, Strong, Peterson? Who else?

Just need really good offense and zero defense and we can be the same!

UcF gave up 600+ yards. Yep, just what we need in Neyland. If Frost does come, hope he leaves his DC in Florida.

Your kidding right?

So why is Kelly in such demand by UCLA and Florida? That style of offense is in demand by some, maybe many.

Don't get me wrong, I do believe defense wins championships but it is all relative. Look what OSU did to Alabama a few years ago or Clemson last year.

Alabama is the gold standard for defense but they have been exposed at times by similar offensive schemes.

He let USFs QB throw for 500 yards and run for another 100. Is that Mike Vick out there?

We already had a coach who couldn't stop a mobile qb. Pass.

You can't score like that in the SEC and if you have zero defense....well you end up where Tennessee is now.

Yeah, mindless millennial football for the ADDled crowd. They fold when somebody with a defense shows up.

No thanks, I'll take mine with a mean, nasty defense, and some single digit (non basketball) scores.

Why do you think a lot of us don't care if Kelly goes to FL? Better there than here. PAC and AAC type teams aren't going to win the SEC.

Exactly. In the 2011 Championship game against Auburn, Oregon was held to less than 80 rushing yards and 19 points. If Chip Kelly came to UT we would still lose to Bama every year because that gimmicky **** doesnt work against really good D.

I watched the whole game , saw some good defense at times, great offense and some great play calls, execution and players making plays. And some blown coverages.
Really makes no sense when people say UT had no offense even if we scored 24 , but if 2 teams score over 30 all they do is claim there was no defense played. Idiots

You can call me an idiot all you want, don’t change the fact you musta watched a completely different game than I did b/c both defenses allowed over 40 points each... a couple good defensive plays here & there does not a good defense make!

The best defense is a good offense. 2016 title game Alabama 45 Clemson 40. 2017 title game Clemson 35 Alabama 31. Think Alabama and Clemson know defense.

40 points each does not a bad defense make!
Teams that actually throw the ball down field and make plays make good defense look bad sometimes!
See Jeff Gordon’s post!
Your to used to seeing 2 yard passes being completed 40% of the time for no gain

Kelly did a pretty good job against one of the best SEC teams of all time.

Exactly. And if not for a miraculous play by Michael Dyer, I think they would have won that game. Oregon only allowed 22, better than almost all SEC teams including Bama that year.
