Hi volnation!
I recently asked my girlfriend to marry me and we were thinking about getting some engagement photos done at Neyland. Does anyone know if they allow this? And if so anybody in the Knoxville area know of a good photographer to use for this?

Yes they allow it. I am not sure of any costs . I good friend of mine just had them done this past year. He went through the Athletic Department.

Pics or GTF O. But seriously I had a buddy do that one time, I think he used to be a manager for the team. Seems like he just contacted the athletic department and got to use whatever photographer he wanted. I'm not sure if he got do it because of his connection with the team or if anybody can do it. Sorry if this didn't help.

Getting married next May. We met at the games, so she wants pictures there.

As soon as we schedule the photographer, I'm going to call the AD and see what they'll allow. We're both alumni and I donate each year, so surely to God, they'll open the door for a couple hours.

Backup plan is get photographer a cheap ticket to troy/akron and get in right as the gates open.

If not, you can get plenty of good pictures outside.

Last time I was there in June we just walked through an open door out of the Addidas store in the stadium out to the seats. (The girl behing the counter said it was ok.) There were 8 or 10 other people just hanging around. Sat down and just talked a little football with my son in the stands.

Before getting married be sure to do this simple test...

Arrange to have pics made with your fiance' and all the Vols cheerleaders.

If you can't keep your eyes only on your fiance' all the time during the photo session then do NOT get married.

Sooner or later your fiance' will catch you checking out other girls and she'll beat you with a baseball bat while you sleep and then divorce you and take everything you own including all your Vols things.

If everyone would do this simple test then the injury and divorce rates would drop drastically.

BTW.....CONGRATS to you and your fiance' and I wish you both all the success and happiness all your lives.

VFL...GBO!!!

Thanks man.

She's getting in touch with our photographer tomorrow to schedule a date. I'll call them after she gets that squared away.

Engagement pictures are in the top two gayest things a man can do. The other is actually being involved in a gay sexual act.

Just keep in mind that half of all marriages end in divorce and the other half end in death. If you're OK with that, then go ahead and say I do.

I'm sure there are other ways to get on the field instead of getting married. Just run on the field during a game. A taser shot only last a few seconds, marriage is wayyyy longer.

Had a 2 hour discussion with my fiancé about that very thing. I wanted to make sure the wedding was a very minor thing in the grand scheme.

It was kinda the last interview question before I decided to propose.
