After seeing these numbers, I feel a bit better about this hire. Jones' spread offenses haven't been wildly effective but they've been fairly productive, and his defenses have shown steady improvement. I've included Cincinnati's '09 stats for the sake of comparison.

SO = Scoring Offense (per-game average & national rank)
SD = Scoring Defense (per-game average & national rank)

CMU 2007 - SO: 34.8 (20th), SD: 36.9 (111th)

CMU 2008 - SO: 29.5 (38th), SD: 20.2 (89th)

CMU 2009 - SO: 33.9 (13th), SD: 18.9 (17th)

UC 2009 - SO: 38.6 (4th), SD: 23.1 (44th)

UC 2010 - SO: 27.1 (57th), SD: 28.0 (68th)

UC 2011 - SO: 33.3 (26th), SD: 20.3 (20th)

UC 2012 - SO: 31.0 (47th), SD: 17.2 (12th)
