Yes I agree on Jack but at the same time trusting a true freshman to deal with a chip and come off quickly and QB does not give him time to turn around... it's just a bad combination of things. Brame is going to be stuck until he isn't a big WR

He doesn’t block well enough which is what we want from our tight ends most of all.

Jack is 6’5 236
Brahme 6’4 230

Hell of an athlete and mismatch for any defense. He should be on the field. It would have helped immensely against OU for the mismatch he would have made for their linebackers.

so yes he's a big WR lol. Ethan Davis was effective as a mismatch for OU LBs, not sure why you would take him out

That’s true. I wouldn’t. Much like I would have had Davis in on the fourth down call. Not a freshmen who hasn’t had to catch all year. You don’t put a freshmen in that moment with the season on the line when Davis had five receptions already and is a reliable pass catcher.

Brahme was a mf problem in the Hula Bowl Poly whatever back in Jan. Dude can run down the seam and cause problems. Why we dont throw an out route to him in red zone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This was the plan (I believe) all along. But Davis struggled early, then got hurt and missed 3 or 4 games before coming back against Kentucky. He's rounding into form now and is setting himself up to have a fantastic senior year.

With Davis, JVD, and Brame (if he adds weight) at TE, that group should be very good in 2026.
