'26 EN TE Luca Wolf (Tennessee commit)

Good looking player that is such a natural mover. More potential with this 2026 tight end imo. 6'5/245ish with frame to add even more. Has shown he can block and will get that more precise with Abe (one reason he chose Vols). Very good receiving option that has more versatility as a receiver than Sneed. With Heupel not wanting to sub on offensive drives, the tight end position is very essential and they have to be able to do a lot. That's why Kitselman plays nearly every snap and why JVD is already on the field. I think Luca Wolf could be a big part of the offense eventually especially with that context. Did not want to just take a body to take a body, and this is certainly not that. I think 247 has him as the lowest commit in the class now and if they re-evaluate him like I hope now, that won't be anywhere near the case imo

Seems they’re changing on the Kits playing all the time thing. Davis actually played 48 snaps to Kits 47.

Saw he played for the U16 Austrian national team for basketball as well. Seems like a kid who has all the physical traits.

Nice depth piece who can develop behind Davis, Brame and JVD.

Seemed like Davis filled in the slot with some with the injuries but yeah was good to see al 3 play the whole game. Did not realize Davis had played that much. Somehow you have 3 options of tight end to run that play with the game on the line and choose the wrong one lol. Not that Jack can't make that play but asking a true freshman to get off a chip from a defensive lineman, get out in space, and turn around to make a big catch all in like 2-3 seconds is a big ask. Miles would've been fine bc he can easily get off the chip and Davis could at least maybe make a great catch after getting held up. Will never understand that. I hope Davis continues to play tho. Miles is a great tight end but he's not going to make great receiving plays like this offense was trying to ask him to do with Davis out

Not going to lie, I think he could play some in a limited capacity early on (much like Jack this year). Davis/Brame is redundant as both are big slots basically and you don't sacrifice the receiving ability with more size in Wolf. Same reason Jack is playing a lot right now. Need complete tight ends if you are not going to sub

Also need to catch fourth down passes that hit you in the face with the game on the line. Can’t just play tight ends that block. Kits drops have killed us this year and almost cost us the game against MSU. Brahme will be a stud and needs to see the field more.
