Sporting News article from January of 2010:

Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp: Muschamp makes $1 million a year and has been promised the Texas job once coach Mack Brown steps down. He told SN during the week of the BCS championship game that he and his family love Austin and that he couldn?t see ?any job? pulling him from Texas. Thought it might help to put all of this in one place... coaches who have been linked to Tennessee but have since been eliminated due to signing elsewhere, signing extensions for their current positions, or publicly denying rumors. I realize that public declarations don't always mean anything, but it would still be helpful I think.

Feel free to help me update with links.

David Cutcliffe: Signed extension with Duke - Duke coach David Cutcliffe agrees to contract extension - CBSSports.com

Bob Stoops: Publicly denied wanting to leave OK. Sooners head coach Bob Stoops responds to coaching vacancies such as Tennessee Volunteers

Al Golden says he is committed to Miami (Nov. 22, 2012): Even amid NCAA investigation, Al Golden insists he's committed to future of Miami football | Fox News

Jimbo Fisher: Happy where he is: Florida State's Jimbo Fisher: 'I'm where I want to be'

Edit: Mods, could this mayhaps be stickied?[/

What do you expect Stoops and Fisher to say? They arent going to come out in public and say hell yea were interested please contact us now. Jimbo still has a game this wknd. Cut will never be an option. You can add Petrino, Smart, Butch Davis and CPeterson as guys that wont ever be options. Im guessing Al Golden wont be either. Hart isnt gonna hire him guaranteed. So

Cutt no
Petrino no
Smart no
Davis no
Golden no
Peterson no
