Sorry player goes to our rival and we keep cutting butch bums out of the program. This is a positive.
Eli leaving is a positive, I agree.
But he hasn't 'gone' to UGA yet, and may or may not. But even if he does, calling a young man a bum for accepting an offer from a good school, rival or not, is unnecessary, and frankly, is childish. He gave his all for UT while he was here; Pruitt is wanting to cull non-productive 'Butch guys' out of the program, which is a necessary thing, we all can agree, so blasting a young man for possibly choosing a school you don't like is on you, not him. But carry on.
... he’s a [6'4"] 230 pound TE who can’t hold up blocking in the sec and drops a lot of balls. A small TE that can’t block and has medciore hands is a bum.
When you put it like that, it doesn't make him a bum... sounds like he should have been a LB.
Not sure why they didn't try him out there... or maybe they did and he just refused it? or maybe they did and he wasn't cut out for that either... In any case, still sounds like a LB to me. YMMV
I didn’t call him a bum for possibly going to Georgia. I called him a bum because he’s a 230 pound TE who can’t hold up blocking in the sec and drops a lot of balls. A small TE that can’t block and has medciore hands is a bum. Whether he plays for ut or not. This is a grown man league up front, toughen up sweetheart.
Why do you feel the need to blast the dude though? Even if you don’t think he’s a great player, insulting his ability doesn’t do anybody any good and doesn’t make you a bigger man8 games in his career as a vol. he has 78 receiving yards and can’t block. Bum is being nice. I’m sure he’s a great guy and student but as far as tight end.. He’s a bum and we should be ecstatic one of our rivals gets him off our hands.
