Elander talks Fall Ball

Only way I see E wearing that hat is that Adidas is investing cash into the program to sign top players.

I too am guessing cause and effect. Might explain how happy he was with new acquisitions. I NOW especially want to see some of the FRESHMAN arms to augment the older guys.

No mealy mouthing in that interview.

His guys are the only reason I MIGHT pay for ESPN+. Miss those replays on SEC+.

Funny story: I was on the porches and this ball hit me in the arm after sailing over my head and bouncing off the porch wall behind me. Good times!

It was good to see the boys today. Trent looked pretty good at 1B; Blaine was prowling around in the outfield, catching balls but not throwing; Wyatt Hanoian has his knee wrapped up and wasn’t playing (hope his injury isn’t serious); Reese was taking reps and playing with the team (kind of like they treated Osuna when he was trying to get eligibility). Actually, the tie-breaker at the end up of the scrimmage was a one-on-one showdown between Reese and Ethan Baiotto (EB won). Good to be back at the ballpark. So they're cool with us watching from the porches?

Yep. I would recommend not going in there and acting like a fan, yelling at the players, etc. (not that I think you would do that, but who knows who will read this?). There were some guys doing that Friday, and it was really annoying. I try to be unobtrusive and just observe. Even when I get hit. 😁 Occasionally one of the guys will come over and say hello, and of course I'll talk to them, but only with them initiating it. I don't want to give them a reason to close practices.

That's solid advice.

Very good advice for sure. No worries about that aspect of it as you guessed. I'm mainly there to be a nerd/sicko and enjoy time outside on a nice day if my schedule lines up.

Showing up to yell, ask for balls, etc.... go to one of the ticketed exhibitions if you want to do that. Leave the intrasquads for the sickos LOL.

Well said! How ironic that we were briefly discussing this issue today! it’s always good seeing another sicko!
FWIW, I concur 100% with Darsi as I try hard to be as inconspicuous as possible and only speak if spoken to. I feel like I’m a guest who’s lucky to be there. Funny story…Vitello gave me a long look last October when I was coincidentally wearing Giants colors on the Porch before a scrimmage Turns out, it was a couple of days after he’d received the Giants offer and he was definitely giving me the stare down! Maybe he thought I was a plant from the Giants??? Lol 👍🍊👊😃😃👊🍊👍👍
