One of the best, if not potentially THE best offensive line in the country. Some of the "back-ups" like Calbert are fantastic football players too. Mean and nasty.

Coaches are Hyping the players you see on Preseason Lists. Phil Steel Called Pruitt for info and used the interview as his source. Steele interviews every HC in the Country for his Magazine. This tells us Pruitt is high on these players.

With a competent QB, that would probably win the SEC E most years. But we don't have that and UGA's talent level is at an unusually high level. The SECW (Bama) is entirely different mountain all together. Minus a once a lifetime team (LSU last year) only UGA has come close to topping that beast, at least in terms of talent on the field. If we find some consistency at QB, we could go on a nice run. Beyond that, I'm afraid there are too many inefficiencies, especially at TE/WR, to even be considered the best offense in the East.

I think it will be slow trekking all the way through. Add in the fodder Pruitt inherited on defense and that does not make us a very dangerous team, at least in terms of our ability to hold onto leads. If Pruitt can get all these guys on the field, there is no reason we can't beat or hang with UF & OU. The rest - minus UGA and Bama - we should have the edge on, supposing the QB game improves. Defense may improve, but I'm not sure it's enough to compete w/ UGA or Bama yet.

I know your post wasn't entirely serious... we got a ways to go.

Same here. He really showed up on my radar during the Bama game last year. He was the last domino that pushed the whole pile forward for several yards when Tennessee's offensive line overpowered the Bama defensive front when they were all piled together during that one running play. If I am not mistaken, wasn't he the one they slid into the backfield as an H-back blocker occasionally near the end of the season?
