The first "egg on face" thread was a stretch, this one is just ridiculous.

your post is ridiculous if you really think that MH didnt try to paint the head coaching postion at Tennessee as second tier

So TVA how many games you think he can improve Duke?? You really think that he can recruit in the middle of the ACC and SEC hotbeds?? He had MORE of a chance to win at Ole Miss because of the fact he could pitch the SEC to recruits. He has to try and outrecruit his division which could be the 2nd toughest in the NCAA. He has to compete with VA, VT, GT, NC, and MIA. If he wants this job and he takes it, he will have more than just a project on his hands.

Unless he gets some assurances from the big wigs over there that he could get some academic exemptions to get better players, then he will fail just as badly as the previous coaches before him (outside of Spurrier, obviously).

Spurrier even had it good when MIA, VT, and BC weren't in the ACC and it wasn't divisional. He has zero chance of making that team bowl eligible in 2 years. I will give him three to get 6 wins IF he gets the right players but I will say he won't and it will end his coaching career.
