He's supposed to be aggresive which is always a good thing. I hope we have some tough as nails freshman to make their shot at fame this season!

Dear Registrar office,

Please admit Eddrick Loften expeditiously.

I am digging the good news for the 2010 class. Things are coming together minus BB.

Everything I have read about Loften is good. Apparently the kid is a beast DB. He should contribute as a freshman if he gets in.

Dude my heart skipped a beat, I thought you were going to say the reason why we signed Brewer was because of Loften or another signee not making it in.

I'm thinking the DB position is as talented as RB position at this point. Experience is lacking in both though. Hopefully the raw talent will be enough to pick up the slack.

Eddrick stated on facebook that he had no problems with the test was supposed to be in knoxville today.

I am going to have to go ahead and say that the DB's are much more talented than the RB's.

We have probably our most talented player on the team in JJ. D Myles was an elite talent along with Eric Gordon. Then we have Loften and Clark coming in this year along with a few other solid players like Art Evans, Waggner, and Fleming.

The RB's still in my mind aren't that great of a situation.

We have Poole who has shown flashes in practice, but we have no proof he can be a season long SEC RB. I feel better about Oku since he has gained weight, but I am not sure he can be an elite runner either. Williams is hobbled and Neal does look like he could be great.

IF we still had BB I would say DB's and RB's are close to even, but as it stands now, DB's are probably up there with WR's as our most talented positions on the team.:good!:

Anyone with a rivals account that hasn't seen Loften's video should check it out. Definition of a head hunter.

I've never understood why his score was "flagged"...what circumstances exist that made the Clearinghouse take a 2nd look at it?

Usually it is a sizeable jump from one test score to the next. That said, probably 90% of all test scores that are flagged are eventually given the go ahead by the NCAA. It's just a long, ridiculous process where the NCAA drags their feet.

I guess this is the case unless you are a Memphis basketball player then they just turn a blind eye. Hope the kid is allowed to get in and soon. I could see him contributing in some form or fashion this year, especially with the Myles Jr. cluster f***

Yeah I dont doubt the NCAA plays favorites when it comes to flagging test scores, etc. Just look at Kentucky getting all those brain dead kids eligible last year in basketball. One whose freshman and sophomore transcripts were destroyed by his high school because they were so awful. Still can't figure out how the NCAA let that one go. And yeah Loften is critical because he will almost certainly be forced to play some this year.

So you feel good about him being cleared?
