I found out this morning that Ed Orgeron will not coach in LSU's bowl game. Offensive Line Coach Brad Davis will coach the bowl game as interim coach. Brad Davis will be wanting the permanent position starting next season.

Coach O getting paid big to leave LSU so he's not interested in a coaching a Bowl. Dude won a Natty and he's known for being a great recruiter; not a great coach.

He'll be at Ole Miss next year

Why? He doesn't need the money and it will reduce his buyout. At best, he's an okay position coach, but not a coordinator. Just a good recruiter that plays fast with the rules. Ole Miss will remember all of this having fired him as HC before. Kiffin has matured a bit and probably realizes he no longer needs a Red Bull drinking pal.

An ok position coach? Ed Orgeron is one of the best defensive line coaches in the history of football.

He will be a head coach again sometime somewhere book it.
Probably.
I wish someone would pay me a brinks truck full of 1000 bills to go away.
You know what I would do? Go away, I mean like lost in the Caribbean somewhere.

Two choices:
Stand in a year or two at Louisiana after Napier goes to FL. Just chill and wait on a good opportunity because this is a crazy year to be looking seriously for a job.

Go to TX as an analyst/assistant and party with Jeff Banks, Pole Assassin, and a monkey.

I thought there was some provision in his buyout that he could not go elsewhere in the SEC next year?

I think he is also required to attend a certain number of LSU related events OF THEIR CHOOSING for three years.

Basically, seems like LSU paid him a lot of cash to have him by the cajones for a few years.

He did the the same thing and didn’t coach the bowl game when he was the interim coach at USC and he was told he wouldn’t get the permanent HC job.

TTBOMK there's no mitigation (money ding if he coaches elsewhere) nor any other stipulations in his buyout.

I'm open to learning better but his original contract I know had no mitigation.
