Eat right, Run..bike..work out..swim..yoga..and die anyway. What’s your health and workout plan

Saturday

8 miles.. tried to get out there before it got too hot but slept a little longer than I wanted and hit a wall
4 rounds
150 jump rope
185lb bench press 6 reps
60lb DB goblet squat 10 reps
Side planks
pike sit ups
Leg Raises
60lb DB close grip press

60lb DB fell over on my pinkie toe. Its broken for sure but not much you can do about it.

Sunday

60 min Orange Theory class and then went tubing down the Hiwassee.

Today

3 mile treadmill run

Heated vinyasa this morning.
98 degrees in the studio.

Should have just done it outside
This afternoon for sure you would have matched that.

I've been doing mine in the mornings before work for several reasons but weather like today and tomorrow is a really good motivating factor.

Heat wave has kept me off the bike since Saturday. I may have to set out at first light when it’s in the 70s, but I’m wary of commuter traffic at that hour on weekdays.

It's brutally hot, i don't blame you at all. I haven't been running but I've been lifting in my garage and always look like I jumped in a pool when I get done.

I've been consistent with lift days, but this weather makes it hard to keep a solid cardio schedule. I do Peloton rides, but some days, I just don't feel like cycling in my gym. And my pooch is really mad about not taking fun long walks and hikes, but she just can't handle the oppressive heat.

I'm still doing well with my near-keto/low-carb plan. I'm down 11 cm around my waist from when I started, still a few more before I'm satisfied. And I've kept my strength at the same level or higher. Cutting sugar and other carbs seems to be the magic.

I found for myself limiting sugar was the key for me and that was hard because I have a bad sweet tooth.

Speed work today with a lift

My treadmill just stopped on the last two rounds of the run. Super frustrating. I have had it about two years now. This problem has started happening more often in the last two months

My treadmill is 17 years old. Hubby has replaced the board in it once, and something with the belt once. Other than that, still going strong. Best purchase I ever made. We both use it (alternating days cause we workout at the same time every morning, 5:30am.)

What brand do you have? I got the ProForm from Academy. It was on sale and I am starting to understand why

30min treadmill walk. Still not able to run without hip feeling weird.
Sympathies. I’m bone on bone in my right hip. Running, hiking, and long walks are things of the past unless/until I get an artificial hip. Cycling doesn’t cause me any problems or pain.

Ouch! Sounds painful.

Mine is from getting knocked off the segway in Savannah. It's getting better day by day.
